We have a small file/print server running Mandrake Linux 9.2. We have two printers attached to this server - HP Laserjet 1200 and HP Deskjet 1180C. On the HP Laserjet 1200 we are not being able to print multiple copies of any file through any application on any computer on the network. Only single copies. I have tried printing from OpenOffice on the server, MS windows apps from clients on the network, using lp, lpr with -n and -#options - but it won't print more than 1 copy. The only way I can get it to print more than one copy is by going into the cups configuration and changing printer configuration by setting the number of copies to what I want. A very cumbersome way. The one exception to this is if we use kprinter - the KDE printing interface to print multiple copies of a file. On the other hand the HPDeskjet 1180C allows printing of multiple copies. I can't figure this out. The default printer for the network is the HPLaserjet 1200. What could be wrong? What is it that kprinter has which others don't? Help will be really appreciated Pramathesh
