I am using cups-1.2.5 for one of our dev. board which is running linux-2.6.<BR>
<BR>
I could able to print JPEG, GIF like image formats but i couldnt able to print text/print formats with my HP laserjet 6P/6MP.<BR>
<BR>
I am using rastertohp filter in cups. when i try to print the txt/doc <BR>
file with "lp -d lasernw sai.txt" its giving the error like <BR>
<BR>
lp: Unsupported format 'text/plain'!<BR>
<BR>
The /var/log/cups/eror_log file output is given below.. it is showing that <BR>
<BR>
application/postscript not supported<BR>

Does "rastertohp" filter supports txt/doc formats , otherwise! have change the filter..<BR>
