The APAutoSetupTool keyword is used on Mac OS X. If this isn't defined and the printer supports PostScript, a PostScript query job will be sent using the query commands defined in the PPD file.<br>

On hot plug, an Apple system process (makequeues or makequeues_agent depending on the version) runs to add the printer if it hasn't been already. If a compatible driver is found, the driver's auto-setup utility (defined in the PPD file) is run to query the
printer and set any installable options, etc. In the case of a PostScript printer, that query might be in the form of a PostScript query job using PJL if the PPD says to use it.<br>
