Hello! I think you mean OpenSuSE 10.2. This is the first release where CUPS 1.2.x is used. Before 10.2 the cups scheduler was running with non-root privileges. The new config doesn't use BasicDigest Authentication as default. Instead you can access the web administration with the user accounts from your system. best regards! Bernd
