how to know about my printer filter

could you please suggest me i want to know how a cups scheduler will piped filter one by one and my custom filter when i add it to the filter how that scheduler decide and associate filter supporting and all,i want to know?


where to see my printer using particular filter? if i add filter in my ppd then it'll go to that filter if i don't use filter it'll decide which filter to take,these things i want to know please let me know
