SuSE packages for 8.1, 8.2, 9.0, 9.1, SLES8 and SLES9 are now
available from
	ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/kssingvo/unsupported/CUPS/
and soon at all its mirror sites. :-)

Sorry for the delay, but had other work at SuSE to do. :-(

Please! These are only test-versions coming with absolutely no
official support from SuSE LINUX AG and you loose your official
installation support, if you install these packages. 

I would be glad to get informed, if you have any installation problems
-- and the CUPS software trouble report system about any problems: :-)
Note: SuSE splitted the package "foomatic-filters" out of CUPS. Means
you have to install that package on older SuSE system versions (8.1,
8.2) too.

If someone is interessted in 64bit packages, send me a quick e-mail
and about the required SuSE Linux version.
