[cups.general] weird fonts??? and who pretended that cups is able

Hello

i am still trying (without much success) to get cups working with the
aculaser 4100....

still using the gs driver for the 4000 since gs doesn't have the driver
for the 4100...

the test page from the gnome cups manager comes out fine, but when i
print anything else i get it unreadable in a too big font for the
itnerline space with a jiggely font good for some carnival posting, but
definitely unusable for my documents....

what's going wrong here???
