[cups.general] HP PSC-750 "Media tray empty!" Error

I have a client with an HP 1300 printer running USB.  It works fine.
But when the user prints from IE in crossover office, the job gets sent,
the amber light on the printer comes on (which I assume to mean
"error"), nothing prints, and the cups error-log shows a "media tray
empty" message.  This sounds quite similar.  Could someone point me to a
specific bugzilla bug number or something?
