cd to /usr/local/rpm where I keep my rpm's then did

 [root at localhost rpm]# rpm -ivf gimp*

I dont know about 4.2.7-pre1 I don't see why it wouldn't work

linuxprinting.org states  "Needs Gimp-Print 4.3.21 or 4.2.6pre2 (or 
newer versions)"
