Deskjet 820C Problems

I have a problem I can't seem to lick.  I'm trying to set up my Deskjet 820C
printer under Cups on Fedora Core 1.  I had it working previously under
Gentoo, but switched back to FC1 after a HD failure.  At any rate, I copied
the cupds.conf from the bad drive to the new one thinking that would work,
but it did not.  After failed attempts to make it work, I reinstalled cups
and got a clean set of configuration files.  However, after adding the
printer and printing a test page, I still get nothing on the printer.  I
set the output logging to debug, and I think I see in the logs where the
problem is occuring, but it doesn't tell me much.  Can someone look at the
log below and give me some pointers on where to look?  Thanks a lot!
