Well, it is arguable. There are "errors" that could be handled
semi-automatic if a
suitable interface would exist, e.g. things like "tray xxx empty". The
maintenance guy
(sorry, person) should get a message calling him to supply paper, but
after that, CUPS could
automagically restart the printer on the appropriate notification.
That's why I think a RFE might be worth wile.
