[cups.general] Lexmark X75 problem

This usb lexmark x75 printer connected to windows 2000 pro. I enable its "Unix printing service" and "TCP/IP printing service". When I use freebsd cups 
to config this printer, I enable it with lpd://hostname/printername. It will respond to the print job by move its print head back and forth once. And the software
announce "Printing complete" with 100% sign, and of course it prints nothing. When i use smb://username:password@hostname/printername, cups give me client error
during configuration time. Is there a way to actually make this printer worth something? Any suggestion is appreciated.
