Yes, there is something in some PPD files which causes the UI
code to barf.

A quick search at:
http://www.cups.org/str.php
would find numerous STRs against the windows driver.
As for following the Win2k driver development, watch the CUPS
site and newsgroups/mailing list for announcements...
