Slow printing ?

I don't have any ideas, but I can confirm that I also have *incredibly* 
slow printing on an old HP Laserjet 5. It's a big colour printer.

It seems to take 2 to 3 minutes per page of ... something ... ( sending 
the job? ) and then the page spits out in a couple of seconds.

This is on my home network. I have set up various printers at work, 
based on the same config files, and have no speed issues at all.

It seems to only affect HP Laserjet 5s. Maybe they're just plain slow? 
How old is yours?
