IPP SSL bug from WinXP client?

Hi all,

I'm seeing some strange issue when trying to setup a Windows IPP client to a CUPS (1.1.23) server.

If I try to add a Windows queue to a class on the CUPS server over SSL (eg, URL: https://cupsserver/classes/test_class) then the Windows "add printer wizard" will freeze. In the CUPS error log (with debug mode) I can see it's continually requesting "get_printer_attrs" every second.

If I try to add from the non-SSL port (eg, URL: http://cupsserver:631/classes/test_class) then I don't see this same problem and the new Windows queue installs succesfully.

I can set up a connection to an individual printer queue fine over SSL (eg, URL: https://cupsserver/printer/test_printer1).

It seems as if all the required printer attributes that the Windows "add printer wizard" is requesting are not being returned when:

a) Using an SSL connection.
b) Requesting a class rather than a printer.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Pete
