cupsd process not starting

I did turn on file sharing with no luck, it's funny because as soon as you turn or start the cupsd process using the Printer Setup Repair program I see the printers, then a restart later the printers are gone, and it seems that the program can't get to keep the cupsd process on during boot ups.
