More than likely you are running into an issue with Turboprint's
non-standard CUPS raster code.  CUPS 1.2 introduces an updated raster
format (which is automatically handled by the cupsimage library) which is
not supported by Turboprint since they do not use the cupsimage library to
avoid licensing CUPS for their closed-source drivers...

Since this is a Turboprint issue and not a CUPS or ESP Ghostscript issue,
you need to talk to the Turboprint folks...
