PDF Printing

Hi,

We tried to  print PDF file through KPDF in Linux. It takes 2 min. to print in Dot Matrix

printer

The same file using the same printer print through  PDF in MS-Windows takes only 45 sec. to

print  and the quality is also very good.

One small text file printed through Emacs,OpenOffice.Org and  KPDF takes 2.17,2.35 and

2.30 min. respectively.

The quality of the printout is also not good in Linux.

I have an urgent requirement for printing through Linux. We seek help in this regard.

So Kindly give a good solution to achieve the same speed of MS-Windows in Linux.

Printer  -  TVS-Dot Matrix.( equivalent to Epson
Model  -  MSP 245
Driver  -  IBM compatible Dot Matrix Printer(Linux).
OS       - Cent OS.
We are  using Generic Unix LPD print system

      Please dont consider this mail as an ordinary request.... The solutiom for this problem is

very very important for us.

      Our important goal is to print a PDF file through Linux faster or atleast the same speed as

in MS-Windows ..,.using Dot Matrix Printer.
