'action' when a print job is received

Hello!

Is there a way to execute a shell script when cups is receiving a print job (and perhaps again after the job is suceeded)?

I have a remote cups printer which is working perfect. This printer is conneted to a power-switch and can be controlled over ethernet (because of the excessive power consumption in printer sleep mode). I have a small unix script to power on/off the printer when needed.

System: Fedora Core 6 x64 (cups-1.2.5-2.fc6.8)

I'm new to cups, please be patient :-)
