Hey list,

I'm having a hard time trying to configure this HP PSC 1410, it works
locally but when the printer is connected to a remote Windows
machine, CUPS says it's all ok, sends the print job and the Windows
Printer Spooler seems to try to start the print proccess, makes some
noise and stops, I can't delete the print job unless I restart the
Spooler.

I've searched around and found just one reference to this problem:

http://lopsa.org/node/736

This guy have the exact same problem.

I've tried with smb back end and the LPD (Unix printing services for
win), both have the same problem.

I guess either windows doesn't recognize the formatted output that
CUPS spits or it's a fault on the PPD file, which is non-sense
because it works locally.

I've tried under mac os x tiger and opensuse, no success.

Anyone else got the same issue?

(I also have an Epson C63UX, I'm going to try that one now and see if
I can get it to work)

Thanks,

r.
