Sun Ray thin clients and CUPS

Hello list,

anyone having success with printing locally to an USB printer from a Sun 
Ray desktop unit? Via ipp and the network it's no problem, so I heard, 
but my USB-printer is not being seen by CUPS. This may be something that 
cannot work, but maybe someone found a solution? Dind't get an answer in 
the Sun Ray list.
