lexmark 1000 - no output on ubuntu

Hi, there seems to be no way to get my printer work! Need help!
OS Ubuntu 7.04
Printer: Lexmark 1000 Color Jetprinter
in 1000.ppd I find:

some lines later:

When I print I get the message: job stopped and the printer does not anything.

Anyone can help me? I'm working on this since some days and find nothing.
