Tracking no. of pages printed

Hi folks. This website is all greek to me, so I'm just gonna ask. It was suggested to me that I visit here to find a spooler/rip/driver/thingy (sorry) that will track the number of pages I print. Or at least some direction finding some software that will do that.

I'd like to know how many pages I print so that I can track costs per job.

Here are my specs: MacOS 10.4.10, Epson Stylus Photo 1200 (using a Gimp-print driver), and an HP 6110 all in one, using an HP driver.

The windows in Apple's print manager show me printed jobs and their file names, but not the number of pages (or any other information--time elapsed would be nice to know).

(In case you were wondering, I love my Epson printer. It's a total workhorse. I bought the HP to save on desk space, and overall it's been pretty good, but I can't control color and such as well as my Epson. I just ordered a serial/USB cable to hook up an ancient HP black and whit laser printer to my Mac, so I may be back if I can't get that to work.)

Thanks! I appreciate your time--Dina
