Maximum number of printer queue's

Hello everyone

I have a very general question, how many printer queue's can cups handle
Can it handle more then 1500 queues? How many of thoose queues can I send data to simultainously? Can I for instance send 4-5000 sheets to thoose queues.

Does someone here have some large installation of cups that can give me some pointers to the possibillities cups have? What kind of os would be best fitted for this task? Linux or Solaris ?
