CUPS(Samba,Raw,JetDirect) SLOW (slower than windows)

Hello,
 so pxlmono isn't the solution I'm looking for - I want to print using the vendor drivers, because HP plotter drivers have some fancy settings my users want to use...

But I have found something out - when I select "print directly to the printer" in Windows drivers (set it as a root on samba server), it prints faster! On the jetdirect printers, locally attached are about the same. So maybe this was the problem... But still, if anyone has some more tuning tips is welcome
