Windows 2008 client and CUPS server

It seems I've seen people who've had issues printing from Windows 2008 to a CUPS server. I wasn't able to add it as a normal IPP printer in Windows (by giving it the URL of the printer in the Add Printer Wizard), but I was able to get it working just fine through Samba using the instructions here:

http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/man-cupsaddsmb.html

the CUPS 64-bit print drivers for Windows here:

http://svn.easysw.com/public/windows/trunk/x64/

and the Microsoft PostScript drivers from %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\X64\3 on the 2008 server.

I got a few errors like

NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_COLLISION making remote directory \x64

and

Warning, no Windows 2000 printer drivers are installed!

but everything seemed to work just fine.

I'm running CUPS 1.3.7 and Samba 3.0.33 on Oracle "Unbreakable" Linux 5.5 (rebranded RHEL).
