HP Laserjet P1102 doesn't print

Hi,

While compiling the driver:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcups
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [command2foo2lava-pjl] Errcode 1

:(((

I'm sorry. I have no idea how this stuff is built, and what -lcups is. And frankly speeking - I don't care. I just want my printer to work. In Windows it would have worked since I've brought it from the store... - This is the biggest disadvantage of Linux, that I know: You have to spend weeks studying computer/software stuff to get simple things working.
