Minimum requirements of foomatic and ghostscript for CUPS 1.5.4

Hi,

I want to use CUPS 1.5.4 on SLES10.
Building is OK, but I wanted to know, what are
the minimum requirements of foomatic and ghostscript?

I've read something about the cleanup of /usr/lib64/... so
I will need foomatic 4.x I guess.

Is there a similar cleanup in ghostscript also?
Is ESP ghostscript 8.15.3 still OK für CUPS 1.5.4 or
do I need 8.7x or 9.x?
