[cups] [Brother MFC-8480DN] Printing Slow

Emiliano,

I managed to generate three different PS files from ypur PDF:
--	with_patch.ps
	should be the same as yours as I learned from your log files,
	makes use of the Ubuntu Gostscript patch which is said to bypass
	a bug in Brother's PS interpreter,
--	without_patch.ps
	whithout making use of the mentioned patch (don't ask me how I did  
this)
--	from_poppler.ps
	the PS file generated by the pdftops utility based on the poppler  
library
	(this is listed as "poppler-utilities" in the Ubuntu repositories).

Please tell me how I could send you these three files (all are quite  
big),
as e-mail attachment, via dropbox or how? (they are too big for
pastebin), and then I'd ask you to print these files by
lp -o raw Brother-MFC-8480DN
and tell me what happens, especially how long it takes until the
page appears on paper.
