Helge,

I am sorry it took me so long to respond. I have been very busy the past
few weeks with non-technical stuff.

Anyway --- I have installed snmpd and it is now running on my system.

You mentioned cups-driverd for CUPS 1.5.x. I checked my PC and I have a
manpage for cups-driverd, but I am not sure what I am supposed to do.
The daemon is not currently running on the PC. I usually have some idea
of what is going on, but after reading the manpage, I still don't have a
clue as to what it is supposed to do. Can you help with an explanation
of what I have to do with cups-driverd?

Thanks for you reply.

Jim A.
