hpcups is a driver package that converts jobs to a variety of HP raster PDLs, including PCL. And most of the HP printers consume sRGB and internally convert that to the Device-N colorspace used by the printer rather than exposing CMYK/CMYKcm/CMYKcmk/whatever.

What you want is the PS PPD for this printer, which used to be relatively straight-forward to extract from the corresponding Windows driver but not so much these days... :/
