The PDF workflow is implemented by the cups-filters software
which is not part of CUPS but a separated software project.

how to report issues to the cups-filters developers and
how you could get in contact with them via GitHub.

I really recommend that you report your issue yourself
so that there is a direct communication between you
and the upstream developers.
