[cups] CUPS error logs

On Friday I was able to recreate my error with printing to our Epson 4900 printer over our college’s network.

I started the print at 3:08:54 PM.

At 3:10:30 while the job was printing I saw “communications error” in the print queue on the Mac. Around this time the printing stopped on the printer.

I canceled the print job from the print queue on the Mac at 3:13:22 PM.

I see a communications error listed below in the cups logs.

This is an error that happens on multiple Epson 4900, 7900, and 9900 printers from multiple Macs.  Given this, I am thinking it is a network issue. Our network guy is looking into this from his end. Any other ideas what could be causing this “communication error”?
