Hello Leo,

try to use a different postscript ppd.

As a rule of thumb start with the original vendor ppd.
The minimum ppd, try to use the apple laserwriter ppd.

Further investigation using sub sbiffing leads me to believe that cups-1.4.6 never used pcl/pjl commands, but cups-1.6.3 does.
It appears that my printer does not understand (all) the commands it is getting from cups.

Is there a way to disable pcl/pjl for this printer?
