[cups] [MaOS] when sending to an IPP printer, use a specific user name with the request (a user name different from the user account on the client machine)

Hello Cups mail list !

[this is a Mac OS related question]

On my professional setting, my print requests are sent to a IPP print server.
The print request must be accompanied with my server’s user name (to count my print pages, obviously).

By default, the user name sent by Cups ans MacOS is the Mac OS user login.
Instead I need to send my IPP server’s user name, which is different.
I do need this feature, because I have various Mac machines, and various accounts on each machine which varied account login...

How can I send a specific user name to the print server, instead of the MacOS user account ?

(Cups documentation mentions a NAME variable in the client.conf file, but AFAIK this solution does NOT function on MacOS)

Thank you very much !

Nicolas

Detail on the OS and cups release :
* from Mac OS X.11 to Mac OS 12.3
* On my Mac OS X.11, cups release is CUPS 2.2.0. But newer versions are used on Mac OS > X.11 (dunno which)
