[cups] Printer pauses a few seconds between each page

Thanks Jörg and Helge for your suggestions,

I suppose the list strips attachements, which would explain the missing 
PPD, sorry. It was the default PPD proposed by CUPS when setting up the 
printer.

I just tried to set up another print queue, this time using PCL6 
(Generic PCL laser printer). It printed 4 pages in a row! Maybe I will 
try other PCL variants available on my system, but for now this is perfect.
