Hello!
I am using CUPS on Mandrake Linux 10.0.
I've been using it since early March 2004, printing to my Samsung ML1210, to
PS and PDF files in KDE. But suddenly, printing to PS and PDF got broken.
Everytime I try to print, I get an error message box from KDE that says "...
gs [various options] command output: Unrecoverable error: syntaxerror in
token Operand stack: --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Zmachine sRB
--nostringval--".
I tried to invoke "gs" from the command line, but got this:
ESP Ghostscript 7.07 (2003-11-19)
Copyright 2003 artofcode LLC and Easy Software Products, all rights reserved.
This software comes with NO WARRANTY: see the file PUBLIC for details.
Unrecoverable error: syntaxerror in token
Operand stack:
--nostringval-- --nostringval-- Zmachine sRB --nostringval--
I tried reinstalling ghostrscript, but it didn't help. None of my
environmental variables give any additional options, except for
GS_LIB=/home/artemio/.fonts.
Please help me, I just don't know what to do except for reinstall my whole
system. But we are not on windows, right? ;-) I really hope there's a way to
fix this.
Thanks!
Artemio.
