To send postscript files directly to the printer without any processing you
can edit the line
	application/postscript application/vnd.cups-postscript 66
pstops
and change it to
	application/postscript application/vnd.cups-postscript 0 -
This should send the files directly to the printer without any processing.

"pstops" is necessary even in the case of postscripters to make sure that
certain processing is done even on the postscript files. An example could
be.... in case you happen to use certain fonts or glyphs in your postscript
file that the postscript printer is not aware of, then the output of the
printer will not be predictable since it will use the default fonts or
glyphs.

I am having a problem with postscript generated by Sun's snapshot tool
printed through cups. Setting the queue to "raw" solves the problem (it
prints a blank page), but I would rather simply not run pstops on postscript

jobs ... what exactly should I change in mime.convs to disable? What do
I lose by doing this?

All of our printers are postscript ...
