client-error-request-value-too-long

HELLO- This message comes also when there is no space
left on the device for printing. my / directory was full,
I deleted files, resubmitted the job and it printed correctly.
SO- it would be nice that the client-error-request-value-too-long
in this case be changed to someting less cryptic. Am running
SUSE 9.3.
