cupsd (v 1.1.19) dies on Solaris 9

Mark-
Only change to this server was the patching last Sunday.We applied the Solaris9 patches to this server as recommended by SUN (we have platinum support from SUN for this box).
But this problem is occuring since last two weeks well before applying these patches.
Just as a queriosity, did you install Cups V-1.1.23 as Solaris9 package or you install from source package? If it was Solaris9 package format, where did you get from?

As now frequency of this problem is increasing, might be we replace with verion 1.1.23 hoping it will fix the problem.

As a temporary fix, I have written script which looks for cupsd daemon every 15 minutes as a cronjob and restarts if process is not running.But that's is not a permanent solution.
