Nope -- those describe how to send a fax when everything is working
like it should.

I was hoping someone here might know how the OSX printer dialog
screens are related to the CUPS-listed printers (and thus help
understand why the "Internal Modem" only shows up in the CUPS
interface).

Sure would be nice if it told me *why* it was making such a smart
choice.
