Why must the remote client send a PS file?

If I remember correctly what you wrote:
Before your Windows clients send their stuff directly to
the "real fax printer" but only the job name was wrong.
Now you have a "virtual printer" which corrects the job name.
Why doesn't it work, when your Windows clients send their stuff
now to the "virtual printer"?
