Did this ever get comprehensively solved?
I couldn't get IPP working at all with my EPSX3, and when using the LPD
backend, The printer queues periodically just stop. (With 1.1.x).
With 1.2.0 (not tried 1.2.1 yet), couldn't get the ipp or lpd backends
working with it or some of my printers (although they were Xerox ones
which have apprently been fixed with 1.2.1), as soon as it came to using
the backends, they errored and the queues froze. (I must confess to not
being able to find any debug information).
