End-user dilemma

WE have a mac household, PPC, not intel yet. We are connected wirelessly to an earlier Airport Extreme. We've been happily printing to an Epson R300 for several years. My son got a Toshiba laptop for graduation. Vista home edition. WE couldn't print from that machine, although we could connect to the airport extreme. After I bunch of querying and forum visitng, it seemed like Bonjour was the answer. So I installed bonjour on his machine. It didn't work. Somehow or other, I'm not sure how, I ended up connecting to the printer using CUPS. It still didn't print.

But now, none of us can print, and I'm DESPERATE to get our printing back. When I hit PRINT, everything seems fine, but the printer says "Can't connect". It's trying to connect to 10.1.1.2 on port 80 ...

At th is point I don't care any more about the toshiba. All I need to be able to do is print. Any help GREATLY appreciated.

Please email me at ebondfrancisco at comcast.net with any clues.

Thanks,

Bond
