CUPS and Equitrac UNIX print

According to their administrative "Unix Print Server Guide" Equitrac (Express 4) supports CUPS, and (I might be misstaken here) therefore if one can get kerberized CUPS to work, Equitrac also will work, that is; the challenge is to get kerberized CUPS to work, and if so then Equitrac will work "by association" ?

However as both Rick Cochran and Michael Sweet has posted on this forum in threads regarding to this subject (and other "kerberized CUPS" issues) there are some "quirks" regarding implementation of SPN on the "localized" client spooler, that seems to restrain a more "widespread" usage of kerberized CUPS...
