CUPS 1.4.1 issues with pdftops

ADDENDUM: Just as a point the system installed CUPS with the same driver DOES work with sending pdftops output , so its something about this installation that I'm missing.

> If I use pdftops on the command line and do a conversion with a -eps switch and send the resultant postscript to my destination printer I get the output correctly. Sending a test page to the printer ( I've got the correct driver installed ) works also
