As root

lpoptions -p PRINTERNAME -o landscape=true -o cpi=14 -o lpi=??

Where ?? is the value of lines per inch to equal your needs.

When doing it as root, it is for everyone, when doing it as an individual user it is ONLY for that individual user.

I just installed RHEL 5 and I'm trying to use CUPS for the first time.  I have setup a printer, but I need to change the default orientation (to landscape), Font Pitch (to 14) and Form Length (to 45).  Is there a command or config file I can edit to change those values on the Linux server?

I want those to be the default values used every time a job is sent to the printer I just setup.
