[cups] cups problem

If you have messed up your Linux System you need somehow to get access
to this system in order to e.g. reset the root password.

This is what you need a system for, that allows you to mount the root
file system of the broken system and chroot into it (briefly speaking,
out of my head).

That running system might be an installed second system (but if you are
locked out there as well, I doubt it works). You may want to try the
Unix varaint called MacOS, but I doubt that works. so best you use a
live system (that boots from CD or USB stick)

If there is nothing of value in these installations you might just kill
them ans reinstall?
